Today, we bought non-perishibles for the trip. After seeing how much was bought, we might consider changing the boat's name to "Kathy's floating deli". After Thanksgiving, the refrigerator will be filled with perishables.
UPS delivered our MAPTECH paper charts for Florida's east and west coasts yesterday. Our Garmin chartplotter's map and software updates arrived today. While Kathy stows the food, I'll be updating the chartplotter. The huge MAPTECH charts will probably be stowed under our mattress. They're too big to fit into our chart table!
On Wednesday, the installers arrived to place our aft cockpit's S/S bimini bows. There was too much curvature in the bows. They had to remove everything and re-measure to match the hardtop's curvature. After the re-fabricated S/S bows are installed next week; they'll build a plastic template, sew the fabric and install the custom-fitted bimini. Once that's done (and the weather cooperates), we plan to get underway on Tuesday, 27 November.
