A passing front during the night dropped the temperatures to the mid-60s today. This morning's marine weather called for 6' in-shore waves with northerly 20 knot winds gusting to 25 knots between Fort Lauderdale and Marathon, in the middle Keys. We decided to stay in the marina for another day, then will try for Key Largo tomorrow.
Good decision too ... spoke to the skipper of a 54' sailing catamaran which took a party out this morning from our pier. They took a severe pounding at the Miami channel breakwater, soaked their passengers (a few got seasick) and turned back. More salsa music tonight!
