Still in Key Largo

After three days of waiting, the winds are still blowing at 25-30 knots. Weather-guessers are predicting a southerly wind shift and velocity decrease for tomorrow, so we are hopeful that the seas will abate for tomorrow's 80-mile ocean run to Boca Raton.

Tuesday's passing cold front dropped night-time temperatures into the 50s for the past few nights. We have had two sunny, cool days, but warmer weather has returned; 75 degrees today and mid-80s tomorrow.

We enjoyed an excellent Japanese dinner at nearby Sushi Nami, two nights ago, and will return there for dinner tonight. Last night's dinner, cooked aboard, was breaded turkey cutlets, steamed carrots and celery, Cuban bread and a "touch" of wine.
